Every once a year, new committees are selected to replace the old committees. The AGM 2015 is a ritual where the committee passes the torch to the young bloods to continue their legacy.

IEEE Xtreme 9.0

This year, 30 Curtin IEEE members are joining the IEEE Xtreme 9.0. Curtin IEEE also held two programming workshops to refresh participant's coding knowledge before IEEE Xtreme competition.
Besides, ShareTea Miri also sponsored 30 beverages to supporting every participant.
Penang Site Visite

Engineering students may visit companies outside the university to learn about ‘real life’ examples of business and engineering management.
In this penang trip, we visited Intel, Keysight and ViTrox. Thanks alot for these company to allow us have this such wonderful site visits. We enjoyed and were rewarded in Penang.
IEEE Solar Power project

IEEE Curtin Sarawak Student Branch is proud to have successfully uphold its vision of “Advancing Technology for Humanity”. Recently, the club ran a Solar-powered lighting system for a Curtin Accommodation Bus Stop. The Energy stored by the Panel during the day would be used by the LEDs at the Bus-stop to brighten up the place, providing students safety when walking back to their accommodation at night.

IEEE Curtin Sarawak Branch has recently showcased its projects during the School’s Open day 2015, and the club is proud to acknowledge the success of the showcase. The Tech Mentor project, which exposes Secondary school students to programming and letting them showcase what they learnt, and the Transformer, which showcases the use of microcontrollers for automation.
